AIA Minnesota Announces 2006 Honor and Divine Detail Awards

Ten honor awards and one divine detail award were announced at the 72nd AIA Minnesota Annual Convention and Exhibition, held Tuesday, November 14 through Friday, November 17, 2006. The jury, consisting of three nationally recognized architects from out-of-state firms, reviewed the 130 honor and 17 divine detail project submissions from Minnesota architectural firms. The Honor Awards were reviewed in the five categories of Architecture, Housing, Interiors, Restoration & Renovation and Urban Design and Master Planning.

The Honor Awards program, a tribute to architectural excellence, encourages a high level of architecture, recognizes the clients and architects who have distinguished themselves, and informs the public of these important architectural contributions.
