AIA Minnesota Announces 2007 Honor and Divine Detail Awards

Seven honor awards were announced at the 73rd AIA Minnesota Annual Convention and Exhibition, held Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16, 2007. The jury, consisting of three nationally recognized architects from out-of-state firms, reviewed the 117 honor and 16 divine detail project submissions from Minnesota architectural firms. The Honor Awards were reviewed in the five categories of Architecture, Housing, Interiors, Restoration & Renovation and Urban Design and Master Planning.

The Honor Awards program, a tribute to architectural excellence, encourages a high level of architecture, recognizes the clients and architects who have distinguished themselves, and informs the public of these important architectural contributions. The following seven projects won a 2007 Honor Award:
