RT Rybak, former Minneapolis Mayor and current CEO and President of the Minneapolis Foundation, will address the AIA Minneapolis chapter at this year’s annual meeting.
Rybak will address narrowing the opportunity gap for people of color, especially in regard to education and children of color. He will also discuss the Minneapolis Foundation’s perspective on the most effective path to creating real and lasting change and how those in professions where people of color are underrepresented (such as architecture) can best engage to make a difference.
Hear from incoming chapter president Derek McCallum, AIA, and learn more about the Minneapolis chapter’s initiatives and activities during the past year. Members will be asked to vote on the 2018 slate of Board officers and directors.
Registration for this event is now closed.
