Volunteers are needed to greet guests, check and sell tickets, and answer general questions at the entrance to each tour home. Shifts are four hours; morning and afternoon slots are available on Saturday and Sunday:
9:30 am – 1:45 pm
1:15 – 5:30 pm
This is a great opportunity for architecture, drafting, and interior design students to become more familiar with some of the region’s design professionals and the newest design trends. For architecture lovers, its a chance to see the tour for free!
A 30-minute training session will tell you everything you need to know before your shift. Sessions are offered on Monday, September 14 at 6:30 pm (University of Minnesota Rapson Hall, Room 225) or Tuesday, September 15 at 12:00 pm (AIA Minnesota office).
Volunteers who fulfill their shifts will receive a complimentary tour ticket and a $10 Target gift card (to be mailed following tour weekend).
