AIA Minnesota is an active, vital service organization committed to professional development, public service, accessible information, and continuous opportunities.

AIA Minnesota is recognized throughout the nation as one of the strongest components of the AIA. Whether an intern, associate, or AIA member, you would belong to a local chapter--either Minneapolis (Minneapolis, its suburbs, and the southwestern part of the state), St. Paul (St. Paul, its suburbs, and the southeastern part of the state), or Northern Minnesota (Duluth and the northern part of the state). In addition to affiliation with a local chapter, you would be a member of Minnesota's state organization--AIA Minnesota, and the national AIA.

AIA Minnesota is a member-driven organization. Our members plan meetings, serve on task forces, and direct the future of the profession through service in the AIA. We urge all of our members, especially our new members, to serve on one of our many committees as a way to get involved. Please click here to see the committee list and sign-up sheet.

The benefits of membership are numerous--as a member of AIA Minnesota you would receive a one-year subscription to Architecture Minnesota magazine, an award-winning publication, as well as our monthly newsletter, Matrix, and information on upcoming programs, seminars and events. You would also receive support for your profession, opportunities for continuing education, be able to stay in-tune with current news and events relating to architecture including legislation.

If you would like more information, and a membership packet to be mailed to you, please call our office at 612/338-6763 or write to Amber Allardyce, Membership Coordinator, at allardyce@aia-mn.org.
