Organized to promote the value of AIA Minneapolis members through featured public recognition and programs offered throughout the year spotlighting their achievements.
Recognition venues include The AIA Minneapolis Merit Awards, The Minneapolis Historic Preservation Awards and the AIA Minnesota Honor Awards Recognition Luncheon.
Sponsored programs include Rendezvous With the U and several luncheons throughout the year where the above mentioned awards are featured.

AIA Minneapolis Evolving Practice Forum
Mission Statement: “The Evolving Practice Forum creates opportunities for AIA Minneapolis members to share their common experiences, debate new ideas, and collectively engage the challenges posed by the continually evolving nature of architectural practice.”

AIA Minneapolis Urban Design Committee
This committee advocates for quality architecture and urban design. Through organizing several Minneapolis Chapter luncheons each year, the committee explores the relationship among planning, urban design and development, architecture and public policy, engaging with policy makers and media for this purpose.
