The laws and policies that most directly impact architectural practice are passed at the state and local levels of government.  The AIA State and Local Relations team provides AIA components with the resources and guidance they need to advocate for the profession. Go to the AIA Advocacy Website for more information.

AIA National also offers an Advocacy Center where members can take action on key issues at the state and federal levels, as well as archive their contacts with elected officials. Members can also sign up to receive Government Relations Update emails to stay ahead of the issues that impact the profession.
