We are looking for individuals with proven award-winning design leadership and great problem solving skills who can effectively communicate design ideas and solutions. Located in central Iowa, our offices in Des Moines and Ames have vibrant environments with excellent opportunities for professional growth. Des Moines ( is the capital of Iowa and a diverse community of approximately 200,000 residents with recreational facilities, park system and a variety of quality schools. Ames ( is home to Iowa State University and offers many educational, cultural and recreational activities. Qualified candidates will have 5 to 15 years experience, with an emphasis in health care, developing client confidence, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm, and leading efforts to conceive, design and present sophisticated projects to a knowledgeable clientele. They will have solid verbal, conceptual sketching, computer drafting, and presentation graphic skills. The ideal candidate will have broad technical knowledge including sustainable design principals, construction detailing, materials, and field experience. Experience working in multi-disciplinary environments is beneficial. They will be proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office applications. Bachelor Degree in Architecture from an accredited university. Architectural License. LEED Accreditation preferred.
