This position offers the opportunity to work interactively with other design professionals, clients, and the public in a creative design environment on a broad range of unique projects. We are looking for individuals with a strong sense of design with great problem solving skills who can effectively communicate design ideas and solutions. Located in central Iowa, the Des Moines office has a vibrant environment with excellent opportunities for professional growth. Des Moines ( is the capital of Iowa and a diverse community of approximately 200,000 residents with recreational facilities, park system and a variety of quality schools. Qualified candidates will develop client confidence, demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, and conceive, design and present sophisticated projects to a knowledgeable clientele. They will have solid verbal, conceptual sketching, computer drafting, and presentation graphic skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the basic skills and work ethic necessary to grow within the RDG team environment. They will be proficient in AutoDesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office applications. Exposure to multi-disciplinary environments preferred but not required.
