| Description: | Chanhassen, MN, US Project Architect-CHA02264 Description Simultaneously manages one to two large-scale and several small-scale Architecture projects each year by leading an internal project team and coordinating external consultants. Ideal candidate is to have a strong work ethic and must be able to adapt well to change. Upholds the fulfillment of Life Time Fitness' Mission Statement. Responsibilities - Leads internal project team and coordinates external consultants from schematic design through project completion - Assist with the investigation and preparation of due diligence reports and site assessments for sites and locations under consideration - Prepares and Manages architectural project budgets for assigned projects - Partners and collaborates with team members in other divisions (Project Managers, Civil Manager, Development Managers) to ensure the successful outcome of all assigned projects - Assists in the creation and development of prototypical and site specific details based on industry best-practices as well as internal preferences including constructability and desired aesthetic - Mentors and develops junior staff - Coordinates with individual business owners within the club structure. - Works with real estate department to develop conceptual site plans to assess the viability of a new site. Qualifications Education: -Five-year degree in Architecture Experience -Five years experience in Architecture -Three years experience in project management and construction administration Licenses / Certifications / Registration: -Licensed architect in MN or another state in which Life Time is located in -LEED Accreditation preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to operate a personal computer - Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software - Knowledge of architectural industry software - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to effectively multi-task with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment - Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions - Ability to follow-through on deliverables and pay attention to details in the midst of multiple projects and deadlines - Thorough knowledge of general architecture Primary Location: : MN-Chanhassen - COR - Corporate Other Locations: Minnesota Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Please apply online at: http://jobs.lifetimefitness.com/job/Chanhassen-Project-Architect-Job-MN-55317/2475055/ |
