Members in Transition is a group of unemployed AIA Minnesota members who provide support through sharing resources; identifying opportunities to develop new skill sets; and
utilizing the organization to promote their value to firm principals and hiring managers. These objectives are achieved through:
- Biweekly meetings
- Presentations and training
- Development of a quick glance skill-set tool for firm principals looking to hire (see Talent Pool pdf below)
Our meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at IMS from 4:00-6:00p.m. All that is required is an rsvp to Deanna Christiansen by the Tuesday prior.
Our booth at the AIA Minnesota Convention, November 10-12, gathered people together and expanded our MIT group (shown above).
