Advent Talent Group is seeking a talented Architectural Design Manager for our prestigious client in Minneapolis, MN. If you have a passion for exterior store design and extensive experience in overseeing design projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills!

Overview and Perks Full-time, Direct-hire.

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000/year- DOE Hybrid role in Minneapolis, MN.

Comprehensive professional development opportunities The Design Manager reports directly to the Store Design Director.

This person will be responsible for managing and creating exceptional store designs for the company-operated stores. Working closely with the development department, the Design Manager will be an internal consultant to the facilities management team, as well as stakeholders.

Additionally, they will provide direction for preliminary space planning, architecture, engineering, and a multitude of development partners and landlords.

Responsibilities Include:
Provide oversight of architectural/engineering consultants and exterior sign vendors to maintain brand design accuracy, functionality, and consistency within set timelines.

Manage multiple concurrent projects from initial shell space definition to store space planning, construction document management, and final construction support.

Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of project drawings and files while seeking opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness in the store design process and build-out expenses.

Contribute to design decisions for maintaining the existing store base and participate in new concept design development as required by the Store Design team.

Engage in cross-functional and departmental meetings to ensure alignment between business needs and store design objectives.

Facilitate timely decision-making processes to address outstanding design issues and serve as a consultant for architects and external consultants in finding solutions.

Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.

3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD.

Demonstrated aptitude in effectively managing external consultants.

Driven and self-motivated, consistently exceeding performance expectations and delivering high-quality results.

Exemplary experience with coordination of MEP and Construction Drawing production.

Pronounced emphasis on restaurant or retail projects, candidates with franchise experience preferred.
