• Two-year post-secondary degree, minimum
• Five years Revit and AutoCad experience with proven leadership capabilities to understand the big picture and guide staff through the learning process; emphasis on standards development; in-depth working knowledge of current versions
• Strong oral and written communication skills to support a collaborative teamwork environment
• Basic understanding of building construction and project documentation
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
• Self-starter and possess the drive to continued education on BIM
• Exceptional work ethic, as well as ability to uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
• Basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web-enabled applications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: include the following (other duties may be assigned)
• Revit Standards Development and Maintenance
o Understand JLG project documentation methods and incorporate into Revit tools
o Develop and manage JLG Revit templates and standards for the entire design and construction process
o Develop and manage JLG Revit standard families / detail components / etc.
o Develop JLG Revit management documentation and work with company leadership to develop contractual language pertaining to BIM project delivery
o Create and manage specialized content on as-needed basis for multiple project types
o Develop and manage protocol for working with consultants in a BIM environment
• Project Support
o Develop BIM execution plans
o Execute quality assurance/quality control reviews of project models
o Serve as a ‘help-desk’ resource to aid users in solving the day-to-day questions and needs that arise in project documentation

• Training, Education, and Research
o Develop internal training programs to enhance project delivery
o Develop educational series to better leverage BIM technology
o Research new and emerging technologies and software as they pertain to the building construction industry to develop long range vision and make technology recommendations
o Learn and understand existing JLG Revit documentation tools and assist in researching and developing additional tools
o Refine, enhance, and maintain interface with visualization studio
o Hone knowledge of professional ethics applying to the practice of Architecture
o Assist IT staff in software installs / deployments and network set-up pertaining to Revit and associated software
• Travel as necessary to ensure the success of these responsibilities and JLG organizational objectives
