LHB has an exciting opportunity for an Interior Designer in our Minneapolis office!

Job Responsibilities – (Include but are not limited to):

•Provide leadership in providing Interior Design Services on various sized projects.

•Assist with or take a Management role with supervision on the following:

•Prepare cost estimates and budgets.

•Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials.

•Produce plans/working drawings, for construction documents.

•Prepare, gather and verify product information for specification.

•Select interior finish materials and furniture.

•Communicate with owners, contractors, reps, and outside consultants.

•Provide construction administration services including site observation.

•Review contractor submittals.

•Coordinate with other disciplines and team members on design tasks.

•Produce documents for furniture plans.

•Prepare furniture bid packages.


•Bachelor’s Degree, registration as a Certified Interior Designer, membership and active participation with professional organization(s)

•Minimum of four years of experience as an Interior Designer.
•Healthcare and Commercial related project experience.
•Knowledge of ADA guidelines, building codes, material ratings, and ergonomic requirements.
•Proficient in executing designs through the application of Revit software.
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks, complete assignments and work effectively within project teams.
•Demonstrated oral and written presentation and graphic communication skills with experience in addressing larger groups.
