Program description

This class is intended for those preparing to take the 4.0 Architect Registration Exam.

The format of this class is designed to be interactive. Registrants will receive material in advance of the class which they are expected to review and come to the class prepared to discuss and to ask questions.

Topics that are covered in the material include topography, vegetation, climate, geography, and the regulatory aspects of site development.  The vignettes – Site Grading and Site Design – will also be reviewed.

Instructors

Mandi Tauferner, AIA, LEED AP, is an architect at Kodet Architectural group and works on a variety of project types including religious, education, public works, and historic. She is a past chair of the AIA Minnesota IDP/ARE committee and is currently a member of the Architects Licensing Advisory Community. She has been licensed since September, 2014.

Michael Anderson, AIA, is an architect at HGA Architects and Engineers and is involved with the design of corporate, government, and community architecture. Michael passed all his exams and became licensed in July, 2016.
