AIA Minnesota is once again making the Black Spectacles tutorials available for those preparing for the ARE 5.0. The subscription will begin on September 1 and conclude on November 30, 2019.
Cost
AIA Members / NonMembers – $300 / $355
In addition to the discount that Black Spectacles offers for a three-month subscription to AIA components, AIA Minnesota is subsidizing each subscription for members by $55.
- A minimum of five registrations is required

What does Black Spectacles provide?
- Online video lectures and slides for all six ARE 5.0 divisions – 120+ hours
- Online practice exams with three different tests for each of the six divisions
Includes one face-to-face session
A face-to-face session will be at the AIA Minnesota office and made available via online meeting for those not in the metro area. The purpose of this session is to introduce you to others preparing for the exam. We will encourage an open discussion during this session where you ask one another questions, pass on tips, create study groups. Additionally, we will have an architect and/or someone who has recently taken and passed the 5.0 exams as an additional resource.
