Situated amid the trees on Gleason Lake, this iconic mid-century house has been carefully re-imagined and renovated to reflect the owners’ modern lifestyle, while respecting the existing bones and spirit of the home.

The home has a strong organic connection between indoors and out. The deftly reworked floor plan relocated the kitchen and dining room to take advantage of the views of the lake and natural setting.

By adding a wood-burning fireplace and innovative lift-and-slide glass doors that open onto a patio, the designer transformed the living room into a light-filled space for relaxing and entertaining in all seasons. Finished with floor-to-ceiling windows and exotic woods that resemble the original mid-century paneling and flooring, the home is filled with natural light and warmth.
