Clients Jeff and Laura knew they wanted to live in the diverse, vibrant, welcoming Seward Neighborhood so the hunt was on to find an available lot. Initially intended as a renovation, the project evolved into new construction as the substandard condition of the existing house became apparent. With a sophisticated sense of style and an advanced degree in art, Laura was confident about the contemporary vibe she wanted her house to embody, and Shelter Architecture was able to successfully expand upon that vision. A modest footprint, efficient and creative use of space, and an aesthetic of clean lines became the guiding tenants of this unique home design.
