Frequently Asked Questions
My company was involved with one of the tour projects. Can I place my sign in the yard during the tour?
We reserve the opportunity for sign placement for those companies who have paid to sponsor the tour. Review the list of opportunities here. Any signage placed by companies who are not official tour supporters is at risk of being removed by tour organizers.
I am interested in sponsorship—how do I sign up?
Identify the sponsor opportunities or packages that best meet your company’s needs and communicate with Angie McKinley at AIA Minnesota. You will then be given a contract to review and sign that outlines the benefits of your selected sponsor opportunities.
I have paid my sponsor fee and signed the contract. Now what?
In the months leading up to the tour AIA Minnesota and media partners will promote the event through print advertisements, digital advertising, blog posts, on social media, the tour website and to the local press through press releases and other communications. Depending on your sponsor level, your company’s logo or name will appear in many of these media assets. You need to take no further action at this point.
My products or services are featured in multiple tour projects—how do I know where I can have a presence during the event?
Refer to your sponsor contract to determine how many projects you may be present in during the tour. Then it is a matter of your preference as to which home(s) you think will give you the most exposure. You will need to communicate your final decision to AIA Minnesota by late August, so that adequate on-site signage can be prepared and placed in the correct home(s).
Does AIA Minnesota provide any kind of signage for sponsors?
Yes. AIA Minnesota creates full-color signage featuring your company logo for placement throughout the project(s) where your company’s products or services are featured. Signs are a combination of easel-back, adhesive clings, and table tents and are approximately 5″ x 7″ in size.
