Billie Faircloth, AIA – partner, Kieran Timberlake
Leads a transdisciplinary group of professionals leveraging research, design, and problem-solving processes from fields as diverse as environmental management, chemical physics, materials science, and architecture.
Dessa – rapper, singer, essayist
With the Doomtree collective–the ascendant Minneapolis hip-hop crew. She has made a career out of bucking traditional genre designations–rapping at Lollapalooza, arranging for full choir, and co-writing classical works for an orchestra.
Kao Kalia Yang – author, activist, teacher
Author of the award-winning book, The Latehomecomer: A Hmong Family Memoir (Coffee House Press, 2008) and the book, The Song Poet (Metropolitan Books, 2016).
Kate Sutton-Johnson – 3D designer
3D designer specializing in environmental, exhibit, and stage design for both live events and permanent installations. Recipient of the 2007 Ivey Award for Emerging Artist and the 2016 Ivey Award for Set Design.
Mary Anne Wise – co-founder, Cultural Cloth
Esteemed American textile artist, curator and visionary advocate for indigenous textile traditions.
Amara Hark-Weber – shoemaker, artist, and educator
In her St Paul workshop, Amara makes English welted, German welted, pegged, cemented, and Norwegian sewn shoes. All custom-made for individual clients.
