The Housing Advocacy Committee (HAC) seeks to positively influence affordable-housing and homelessness issues. Its focus is on how architects, along with other designers, might be key players in helping to address these important social issues. As an HAC member, you may assist in planning our events, including our annual Search for Shelter Design Charrette — which benefits local housing agencies. Passionate volunteers are invited to join this committee.

HAC was instrumental in creating the Affordable Housing Design Award, that is supported by The McKnight Foundation. HAC continues to be a driving force for this award program. Learn more about the Affordable Housing Design Award.
