Paulsen Architects has a Civil/Structural Engineering EIT Employment Opportunity

We are currently seeking a structural EIT with 0-4 years work experience.

This position will work on a multi-discipline team providing structural engineering and technical expertise. The position will include design and analysis for wood, masonry, concrete, and steel structures as well as preparation of plans and specifications, report writing, cost estimating, and construction observation.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis, EIT certification, Ability to interpret and apply design code information to structural design (ASCE, IBC, AISC, etc.), and Ability to communicate technical engineering concepts with both technical and non-technical clients and team members.

Preferred qualifications: Previous work experience performing structural or engineering design, Experience with drafting and 3d modeling software: Revit, Autocad, etc., Experience with structural analysis software: Risa3d, Enercalc, mathCAD, etc., and Construction related work experience
