||AECOM is seeking a Senior Interior Architectural Project Captain for its Minneapolis, MN office to provide computer aided design production services to the Interiors department. Responsibilities of this position include:
•Organizes the production of contract documents, participates in the development of design and performance criteria, preparing details as necessary, selecting components and coordinating the application of various technologies within budget constraints from schematic design though construction administration.
•Perform building code analysis, definition of construction documents requirements and prepare line drawings and details (both manual and CADD).
•Coordinate architectural and engineering disciplines, specifications, issue bid documents and review shop drawings.
•Assist Project Designer and/ or Project Architect in development of construction documents and materials selections.
•Instruct team members on various aspects of construction, documentation, production techniques and architectural systems.
•Monitors quality of documents and leads/ mentors daily technical related assignments.
•Leadership in CAD/BIM processes across all disciplines and offices to ensure consistency, efficiency and coordination with design work.
•Works in a self-directed manner and is responsible for coordinating activities associated in the design, development, preparation, production and control of project documents and construction administration for moderate to large-scale projects.
•Have an understanding of interior architecture, interior construction, and complete interior construction documentation, and be capable of working on projects start to finish with little or no guidance.
•Must be efficient in both AutoCAD and Revit programs.
