Description: Preservation Design Works (PVN) was created in 2011 to provide a new process for redeveloping historic buildings. Our business model includes preservation design, real estate development services, and research. Our services are diverse and directly related to the company mission to increase the use of historic buildings. Services include preservation project planning and management, historic consulting, preservation-specific design, and real estate development services. Research and publication are a core component of our business philosophy and problem-solving approach. We have a full-time opening for a Project Manager or Preservation Architect with 5+ years of work experience in historic preservation or a related field (such as historic consulting, construction management, real estate development, or city planning). Ideal applicant will have an understanding of the historic preservation process along with design and field experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A licensed architect is desired, but not required. PVN is a newer company with a dynamic and innovative business model. As a small company, all team members have a wide variety of tasks and clients.
