Summary: Duties will encompass the use of integrated systems for computer-aided design used to create and interpret the systematic representation and dimensional specification of architectural structures. Prepares shop drawings for architectural submission, as well as for fabrication of commercial exterior rainscreen systems, utilizing CAD digitizing techniques and skills. Coordinates with engineering resources to incorporate job specific limitations into functional drawings.

Requirements: Sound knowledge of interpreting and creating architectural type drawings and a substantial acquaintance with the general aspects of the drawing process. Intermediate level technical understanding. Implements standard procedures and proposes intermediate level modifications to improve workflow. Still generally obtains input to solve more complex problems.

Works under general supervision. Able to gather information independently using established and defined procedures. Able to train new employees to established procedures. Takes initiative around continuous improvement. Uses some discretion. Contacts are typically within organization. May occasionally have contacts with others outside of the organization to seek clarity or ask for interpretation.

Ideal Candidate will have: Strong REVIT and/or AutoCAD Drafting skills, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Mechanical aptitude, Good communication skills, team player, and self-motivator. Education: AAS Desired; Should have some type of CAD Drafting Degree Experience: 3+ Years – in Drafting/CAD Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
