Doran Companies is looking for an Architectural Designer. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment on projects where Doran is the builder, designer, and developer. We are looking for Architecture individuals who want to be part of an awesome team, equipped and supported by a forward looking and fast-moving company. Location Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area Corporate office located in Bloomington.

What You’ll Do As an Architectural Designer I, you will work extensively with architectural staff assembling Revit documents and coordinating activities. Projects include multi-family housing and retail designs. You will also communicate with other related disciplines and field locations to confirm design intent and specifications. In this role, you can expect to: Project Documentation – View Creation + Redlines Adherence to Doran Graphic Standards Full Direction from Senior Staff Needed Strong Technical Skills with Software (Revit) Implementation of Building Assemblies w/ Direction from Above Learn about building code and accessibility (unit focus for now) Increased Responsible for Revit Model Management Follow office file structure standards Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years. 

Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in architectural technology required. Bachelor’s Degree Architecture preferred. Must have a minimum of recent one year of on‐the‐job Revit experience Minimum of 1‐3 years of construction document development strongly preferred Experience with multi‐family housing and senior housing/or mixed‐use housing strongly preferred Must have superior communication abilities and be comfortable speaking with multi-departments at various organizational levels About Doran Companies At Doran Companies, our purpose is to build better lives.
