The Colliers International MSP Architecture department is looking for a Project Technician to join our team. Colliers is a worldwide, full service real estate services company.The Colliers Architecture team offers design and planning services for office, medical, animal care, and retail clients in Minnesota and around the country.
-The Architectural Project Technician will work in a team setting to create attractive, inviting and highly functional environments for office, medical, retail and industrial businesses.
-The primary function of the Project Technician is creating construction drawings and other contract documents; documentation of existing buildings & spaces; gathering program requirements; tracking project schedules; working with Contractors on project requirements; and coordinating various applications with City or County authorities.
-Projects will include designs for new construction, remodeling of commercial spaces, and implementation of brand standards for national accounts.
-The work will include creation of design and technical drawings – for initial design concepts, space planning, construction efforts, and permit submittals.
-During construction phases, the work includes review of construction related documents and submittals, and periodic construction site visits.
-Perform real estate support services – including square footage analysis, BOMA calculations, lease exhibits, as-built drawings and marketing plans.
Creating as-built drawings of existing buildings or tenant spaces.
-Occasional travel to project sites to document existing buildings, or to review project construction progress.
