CR-BPS is seeking an Architectural Assessor/Drafter with building science expertise to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and expanding CR-BPS’s Facility/Site – Asset Management and High-Performance Architecture core services. This position offers tremendous growth opportunities.

The Primary responsibilities required for the Employee are as follows:
a. Physical inspections of existing facilities/sites/energy and relative building systems, documentation of said information, evaluation, and analysis of said systems, and provide recommendations:
(i.) Facility Condition Assessments and Data Entry
(2.) Building Diagnostics
(iii.) Energy Audits and Data Entry

b. Lead technology initiatives

c. Assist with report writing and presentation preparation

d. On-going research of advancements in sustainable building science practices

e. Assist in completion of existing and future projects throughout all project phases:
(i.) Assessment/ Audit
(ii.) Planning
(iii.) Conceptual/ Schematic design
(iv.) Design Development
(v.) Construction Administration
(vi.) Occupancy and Post Occupancy
(vii.) Testing, Monitoring and Verification

f. Client relationship management with new and existing clients

– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Associates or Technical degree in architectural drafting or related field
– Additional Certifications, preferred but not mandatory:
– LEED Accredited Professional
– Passive House Consultant Certification
– Energy Manager/Auditor Accreditation from a recognized organization/institution

– Minimum 2 years of experience working in the building science, architecture, or engineering industry
– Demonstrated successful experience working with/for local, state and/or federal governments
Strong knowledge of REVIT (BIM Software) and Microsoft Office Suite

– Must work from, manage, and operate personal office in Minnesota or Western Wisconsin
– Work collaboratively with remote team in Minnesota and Wisconsin
– Ability to communicate effectively via phone/web/email/video conference for meetings, brainstorm sessions, project collaboration, project deliverables, mentorship and check-ins with clients and team.

– A PC computer that is a laptop/portable and is a 2018 or later model with large hard drive storage
