Description

SALA Architects is looking for a talented designer and ArchiCAD BIM manager with keen graphic sensibilities, clear and confident communication, resourceful curiosity, and a collaborative nature. You have strong and adaptable computer skills and at least intermediate knowledge of construction assemblies and details, with a particular emphasis toward wood-frame construction.

As BIM Manager, your responsibilities include leading monthly in-house user-group meetings, tracking and implementing software updates, training new users, and supporting the team. We are fortunate to have a well-developed template and in-house IT support at the ready. At least five years of ArchiCAD BIM software experience and Apple OS familiarity is recommended. While the BIM Manager role is essential, the majority of your time will be contributing to the design, development and documentation of mostly single-family custom homes, retreats and renovations. Our internal teams are often small, necessitating a holistic design methodology and efficient production. Because our clients are most often the end user, our creative process is an intimate and tailored exploration resulting in design that elevates daily life.
