The Building Inspector II-Commercial Plan Reviewer is responsible for ensuring that all commercial and multi-family residential building plans and construction comply with applicable National, State and Local building codes. Assist the Chief Building Official by the review of permit applications, materials, plan review and interpretation of building codes and respond to public inquires. Remote/Hybrid Work: Our flexible work policy allows employees to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, depending on operational needs and the approval of the Department Director. Employees can work from home or another pre-approved off-site location for up to two days per week, or 40% of their schedule. This flexibility is designed to support work-life balance while ensuring that departmental goals and responsibilities are met.
