Kaas Wilson Architects is an award-winning Architecture and Interior Design firm that specializes in the design of a wide range of multi-family and senior housing projects. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Contract Administration Technician. Successful candidates for this position will be expected to have the ability to work on multiple projects at a time within a dedicated team and be capable of switching between tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include: • Assisting in observation of projects in construction through periodic site visits and preparation of worksite observation reports. • Reviewing submittals, project samples, and project data. • Responding to requests for information from multiple general contractors, owners, and developers. • Assists in ordering construction materials and samples when needed. • Archive and organize the CA material library. • Participate in all onsite punch list walkthroughs. • Provide basic administrative support and help with special projects as needed/assigned. Required skills/abilities include: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams • Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems. • Understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations • Passionate about learning, highly motivated, with a drive to succeed in a dynamic design firm. • Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, PlanGrid, submittal platforms, and some Revit Knowledge • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Construction Science required.
