DOM Interiors has an exciting new opening for a Design Consultant located in the Minneapolis area. “Dom”—from the Latin “domus”—means “home”. The company, originally specializing in kitchens and appliances, was launched in 1999. Located in the International Market Square has been serving the Midwest with extraordinary Italian kitchens since 2004. Our goal is to be your resource for modern living. We work with a global network of architects and designers on private residences, workplaces, and multi-unit projects. We carry products for every corner of your home. Duties: * Generate and document leads through business development and networking * Maintaining appearance, cleanliness, and condition of the showroom – do a walk through each day to ensure the cleanliness of the showroom floor * Be available to cover the showroom floor as needed * Maintaining a professional level of product knowledge * Post on social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Houzz, LinkedIn, etc.) * Prepare drawings from sketches, notes, details and/or verbal instructions. * Prepare sets of plans including floor plans, elevations, sections, detail schedules, etc. * Analyze information available to determine and plan best approach to develop and complete drawings. * May act in a project coordinator capacity at times. * May be required to prepare basic design calculations. * Coordinate and plan events in the showroom * Attend social events within the design community and be willing to get involved with AIA and ASID Organizations Skills/Qualifications: * 3 years of full-time working experience in design of interior spaces. * Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) * Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit * Adobe Creative Suites experience preferred. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks * Self-starter–work under minimum supervision * Ability to multi-task and establish priorities. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills. * Outgoing – Sales oriented mindset * Business/Professional attire Qualified applicants–please submit resume to info@domminneapolis.com Visit our website: https://www.dominteriors.com/
