To continue this mission, we’re looking for an Executive Vice President with an external focus. Your business acumen, strong relationships with clients, and knowledge of various technical markets/services will allow you to seamlessly align our growth, messaging, and people strategy to ensure we are poised to compete and serve a diverse marketplace.
Note: There is only one position available with the option of multiple office locations based on preference.

Opportunities You’ll Have:
◦Owner of the company and a member of a four-person executive team that sets the vision and direction of the corporation.
◦Build external relationships and pursue strategic marketplace partnerships. Your fortitude fuels your ability to make opportunities happen – geographic, market, or service related.
◦Collaborate with leaders across the firm to align and advance our business and people strategy based on marketplace, workforce, and organizational needs.
◦Oversee and champion the messages of Ayres and equip our organization to deliver through various channels and audiences, ensuring we will no longer be the best kept secret.
◦Design and assess thought-provoking and sought-after internal training and programs to maximize career development, employee engagement, and marketplace demand.
◦Pursue acquisition opportunities and oversee the integration of the companies.
◦A bachelor’s degree that has equipped you to think critically and creatively.
◦Experience in engineering, geospatial, planning, architecture, or technical sciences marketplace.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the following areas:
◦Proven track record of success in leading a company or business unit in growth strategy of marketplace and service and being accountable for the financial performance.
◦Creating synergy, building relationships, and collaborating with colleagues to accomplish company-wide initiatives.
◦Developing external strategic partnerships.
◦Holding leadership roles in professional or business organizations.
◦Willingness to travel to any location as required to meet the strategic growth objectives and other Ayres’ needs.
◦Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Desired Skills and Experience
◦An MBA or registered professional in engineering, architecture, planning, survey, or technical sciences.
◦Ability to build trust with others at all levels – you tend to form genuine partnerships with others very quickly and lead with a team-orientated approach.
◦Strong business acumen and experience with Traction (EOS system).
◦A desire to champion our culture and build the Ayres brand nationally.
◦Proven success in meeting goals and objectives to achieve the ultimate outcome.
◦Enjoy balancing big picture and tactical execution with an ability to think outside the box to generate creative ideas and inspire our team to do the same.
