Interior Design Intern

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Interior Design Intern to help our firm expand its capabilities and impact. This new position is critical to helping studiobstyle achieve its goals of creating best in category interiors in both commercial and residential projects. The right candidate is on a fast track to become an Interior Designer with passion for kitchens and baths.

Our focus is the mid-market to luxury interiors segment and we have strong relationships with the top 30+ brands and manufacturers in the industry. Our clients include leaders in the windows category to cabinet hardware and from plumbing to countertops, etc.

Our studio is a top design and public relations firm that excels at visual branding and editorial storytelling. We are serving our clients as strategic, visual marketing, public relations partners that are upending the shelter industry. We also remodel and renovate actual homes and offices with home owners and leasing clientele.

We’re finding that many of our clients are asking for the more authentic, cutting edge design and we need to source the latest and greatest materials. We are growing and are looking for an enthusiastic intern that can help us get to the next level.

Skills and background

This intern will have strong experience in the following:

Superior design skills with Revit, CAD and/or Sketchup.
Experience with Indesign/Photoshop/Illustrator a plus.
We must see your Portofio.
Bachelor’s degree with Interior Design as a main focus.
Professional communication and presentation skills.
Experience in the shelter industry including building, architectural and consumer categories.
Thoughtful, structured and articulate within deadline driven timelines.
Entrepreneurial spirit and self motivated to bring current technology and trends to assignments.
Results and growth oriented with planning and proven success.
Demonstrated understanding of Content Marketing, Analytics, Digital Marketing and eCommerce preferred.
Tenacious drive to see new marketing opportunities and bring them to fruition.
Strong work ethic.
Must be located in the Twin City area in Minnesota and have access to a vehicle.


The Intern will partner with the owner to guide the growth and successful evolution of our design firm.

Design projects with specific direction from Lead Interior Designer.
Participate in and new business presentations and client meetings.
Help design content specifically around editorial and interior design stories.
