This position organizes and provides technical support for the Project Team. The Job Captain is responsible for coordinating and leading production of construction documents for various interior design and architectural projects. This individual will manage the project documentation process from start to finish in collaboration with project managers and architects, effectively managing multiple projects with short deadlines.

Your Duties & Responsibilities:
 -Collaborates with project manager & designer to create aesthetic design that meets client design needs and budget -Shares responsibility with project manager for all aspects of the project and team functions, including final review of drawings, client interactions and contractor coordination -Creates layouts and interior room arrangements for commercial buildings using CAD, -Revit and related software. Creates 3D modeling. -Manages and updates contacts, opportunities and activities within CRM system -Meets with clients to develop programming for projects, obtain and assemble data to complete architectural design.

-Analyzes building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs. -Develops and establishes new client relationships and maintains existing client relationships -Attends construction site meetings, ensuring builder compliance with design specifications and advising on design correction. -Participates in industry marketing events to help secure current and future clients -Creates a project specification manual for project manager when need arises.

About You: 
-4-year Interior Design or Architecture degree or 2-year technical degree in Architectural Drafting -5-8 years’ industry experience working on architecture & design projects -Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD & Microsoft Office Suite -Ability to manage multiple projects and lead within a team environment -Solid construction & building knowledge and visual design portrayal -Excellent communication & creative problem-solving skills -Supportive, friendly and team-oriented demeanor -Comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of the organization -High level of business integrity and alignment with company Core Values -Availability to work additional hours when needed for project completion
