ARCHITECTURAL RESOURCES, INC. (ARI) is seeking a Landscape Architectural Designer / Landscape Architecture Intern.

ARI is a multi-disciplinary firm with offices in Hibbing and Duluth. Our in-house staff of almost 30 team members includes Architects, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, Interior Designers and Landscape Architects. Our projects span a range of areas including education, cultural, housing, parks & rec, commercial, and healthcare. We are looking for an entry-level Landscape Designer or Landscape Architecture Intern to assist with projects from conceptual design to construction documents through bidding and construction administration.

An ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work on several projects/tasks both independently and successfully with a project team. The ability to communicate across disciplines is necessary. Attention to detail will be crucial, as will the ability to produce high-quality.

This position will have the following responsibilities:

• Conceptual design: Development and revision of conceptual renderings, designs, and sketches. 
• Construction Document development: Drafting and revision of construction plans and details using AutoCAD and Revit software. 
• Comprehensive Planning Preparation of written specifications. Understanding of regulatory requirements. 
• Programming Material selection. 
• Working knowledge of public process and performance of community engagement. 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) 

Preferred:

• Proficiency in: 3D Programs (Sketch-up, Revit, Lumion).
