Description

Job Title: Project Architect
Organization: DeVetter Design Group

DeVetter Design Group is an established, mid-size architectural design firm specializing in K-12 education and other commercial projects. We are seeking a talented, motivated Project Architect with eight to ten years of experience who has excellent communication skills and desires involvement in all phases of project design and construction. Responsibilities will include all aspects of a design office’s operations including developing design concepts, producing construction documents, interacting with clients and consultants, and contract administration. Successful candidates will have the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines. Experience and ability to work in a self-directed manner is required. Experience should include working knowledge of how to produce a coordinated set of construction documents.

Requirements:
-Professional degree in Architecture
-Understanding of building materials and their use and application in building design
-Proficiency in Revit / BIM with a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, Word, Excel & Photoshop
-Ability to sketch and draw to convey ideas and concepts to others
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
