Licensed architect responsible for finished plans, specifications, and approval of materials and construction. Supervises a team. Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. Acts as part of a team regarding architectural methods and complexities.
Responsible for oversight of construction drawings and specifications to be used for obtaining building permits and for project bidding. Acts as a project lead and may be the primary contact for clients, contractors and consultants throughout all phases of a project.
Your Duties & Responsibilities
-Responsible for all functions of a team and project, including final review of drawings, interaction with clients, coordination with contractors and project billing.
-Manages project schedules and distributes workload to effectively utilize staff time and skills.
-Supervises a team, participates in performance reviews.
-Meets with clients to develop programming, project development and all-encompassing construction needs and desires for project.
-Analyzes building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements and other technical documents to determine their effect on architectural designs.
-Presents project designs at client meetings and city planning commission meetings.
-Oversees work of consultants and their drawings (i.e. structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, etc.) to facilitate a complete project design.
-Oversees completion of construction documents & specifications.
-Manages and updates contacts, opportunities and activities within CRM system.
-Attends construction site meeting to ensure builder compliance with project design specifications and resolve any design issues.

-Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college or two-year technical degree in architectural drafting
-5+ years’ industry experience working on architecture & design projects, preferably in the Housing, Education and Industrial sectors
-Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD & Microsoft Office, remote working tools, visualization tools, post-production tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects
