Who you are As a Project Architect, you are an integral component in Colliers full service real estate services portfolio; you’ll provide architectural design and space planning services to a wide range of commercial real estate clients. What you bring 2 or 4 year Architectural or related degree 5+ years of experience in the practice of commercial design / architectural documentation / space planning.

Experience in tenant improvement and commercial real estate services is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint. Sharepoint and Outlook). Familiarity with commercial building codes and standards for accessibility is a plus. Knowledgeable in the latest AutoCad software utilized in the Architectural industry. Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Well versed in different Product types, Building Systems, Constructability, Code and ADA. What success looks like Creating design concepts for office, retail, healthcare and industrial facilities; and working with the design and real estate team to deliver quality workplace environments Work with Architects, Clients, Property Managers, Contractors, and Real Estate professionals as part of a team environment – with the sole purpose of delivering first-class solutions to Building Owners, Tenants, Facility Managers, Brokers and Property Managers.

Assure that projects are completed within the allotted design schedule and budget. Communicate project design ideas and technical requirements in a consistent, professional manner – both graphically and verbally. Prepare contract Documents including drawings, specifications, reports and narratives to allow people to understand and implement established design objectives. Perform real estate support services – including square footage analysis, BOMA calculations, lease exhibits, as-built drawings and marketing plans. 

Create presentation and production drawings, using a variety of current software applications, including, but not limited to, AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc Stay current with design trends and technical developments affecting commercial workplaces and business interiors. Work collaboratively with other Colliers team members, including Real Estate professionals, Construction personnel, Architects, Space Planners, Project Managers, and Building Managers.
