Project Architect

Due to growth, our client, a leading consulting engineering firm in the Twin Cities, is seeking a Project Architect to be a part of a multi-disciplined team for industrial and commercial projects. Project work will include additions, retrofits, and new construction for a variety of projects ranging from distribution centers, food processing plants, and manufacturing facilities to export terminals. In this role, you’ll develop and review drawings while providing direction to technical staff.

-Work with a Project Manager on project scope, design, and goals.
-Prepare code/life safety analysis.
-Develop, prepare, and review drawings for industrial and commercial buildings.
-Review shop drawings.
-Assist in providing direction to technicians and designers.
-Coordination with engineering, contractor, and clients, throughout the development and contract document phases of a project.
-Provide strong technical detailing skills in a variety of construction materials and building types.

-Bachelor’s or Master’s of Architecture degree from accredited School of Architecture.
-Architectural license, NCARB certification required.
-5-10 years of professional experience.
-Working knowledge of Revit
-Strong problem solving and communication skills.
