RSP is looking for an experienced Federal Project Architect to do that and deliver creative, innovative, and effective solutions for a wide range of clients on our federal related accounts

We need someone with the ability to work well under pressure. Quality driven. With excellent ability to prioritize, adjust accordingly and meet deadlines. The Project Architect: leads the preparation of plans, drawings, details and specifications in accordance with client standards and specification; coordinate with client’s vendors, consultants, permit expediters, general contractors, city officials and inspectors throughout the CD and CA phases of a project; and partners with interior designer to deliver flexible, thoughtful and innovative design.

Our team is working nationwide on projects from $5M to $50+M, focused on user-supportive design that works, incorporating sustainability, adaptability, resiliency, and energy conservation.

Responsibilities include:
• Understanding the teams assigned hours for given tasks on projects, deadlines and
how they impact project delivery
• Developing and delivering technical design
• Supporting the design process in conjunction with delivering the construction
• Maintaining and strengthening relationships with clients, consultants and vendors
through project work
• Being a positive representative for the firm within our industry

What we are looking for:
• Working knowledge of building codes
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency in Adobe, BlueBeam, Sketch-up, and other modeling/rendering software
• 3 + years experience creating Excel spreadsheets; using Word for reports, meeting
minutes, etc.
• Capability with on-line meeting and document editing software
• The ability to travel on average once a month to work sites

• Registered Architect required or on track for registration within 12 months
• LEED AP or similar a plus
• 8-10 year’s experience in architecture with a minimum of 5 years as a Project
Architect leading multi-discipline teams on design and construction documents for
new and renovation projects with a construction cost of $10M and up
• Recent experience with federal/military projects and criteria a plus to include clients
such as USACE, NAVFAC, and AFCEC
• 3 years minimum experience utilizing 3D and BIM for design and construction
documents required
• Previous federal security clearance a plus
