Will Spencer Studio is a growing, full-service, architectural design firm focused on thoughtful, thorough, bespoke residential projects in the Midwest and beyond. We are looking for a talented and engaging person to join our team as a Project Manager. If you are looking for a collaborative and creative environment, with the opportunity to engage with all levels of single-family residential design, this is the position for you.

At Will Spencer Studio, the Project Manager plays an integral role in not only the delivery of projects, but also the development of the firm. They will work with other staff, as well as the principal owner, to work projects through from in inception to completion. In addition, they will assist in the operations of running a small design office – delivery standardization, marketing & client communication. Those with clear communication skills, and the ability to work independently at times will thrive.

In addition, if you can manage multiple deadlines and shift priorities in workflow as projects require, we strongly encourage you to apply. Beginning with as-built documentation and drafting, the Project Manager will have an intimate knowledge of the projects they are involved with. From there, they will assist in developing schematic design concepts in drawings and 3d models, and then develop and understand the projects from a material and detail perspective.

From there, they will coordinate and maintain the construction documents set leading up to, and through the construction process. In addition, they will be tasked with reviewing fabricator shop drawings, updating the drawing set, and documenting site meetings and conditions. Throughout the project process, they will be asked to clearly communicate ideas to coworkers, clients, and craftspeople through sketches, drafting, email correspondence and in person meetings.

This is a unique opportunity to have an integral role in the growth and development of a growing firm, with great connections and a referral base built on decades of work in the Twin Cities metro and beyond. We are a collaborative and engaging office, with great things on the horizon.

Salary and benefits will be highly competitive and based on qualifications.
