Residential Architect or Designer Perham, MN As an Architect at Widseth, you’ll be leading a team of professionals on custom lakehome projects across central Minnesota with the opportunity to work on light commercial projects including healthcare clinics, banks, and offices.

Your focus will be on:
• Meeting with and guiding clients through the design process. 
• Implementing all local, state, and federal applicable building codes, constructability, and architectural standards of practice.
• Interpreting client feedback to develop design concepts that are within a client’s aesthetic.
• Guiding a design team in developing those design concepts into workable solutions. • Working efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balancing multiple projects.

To be considered for this position you’ll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
• Ideally a Registered Architect in Minnesota, but not required.
• 5+ years’ residential design experience preferred (should be able to showcase finished/built work). • Knowledge of principles and practices of architecture.
• Must be client-facing and able to lead teams on projects.
• Understanding of building codes and county property land management rules
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and/or SketchUp is not required, but beneficial.
