Description

Christopher Strom Architects is looking for a candidate willing to take on the following responsibilities:
• Develop/Implement architectural design concepts, layouts, and details under the supervision of the Principal Architects. 
• Assist with the development of design presentation documents. 
• Collaborate with team members during design. 
• Lead in the assembly of construction documents
• Participate in sourcing and specification of materials. 
• Take ownership of work and oversee construction. 
• Partner in fostering working relationships with clients.

You have:
• Excellent taste and top-notch design skills. 
• 8+ years of experience in project design (residential is a plus), working as an architect, interior designer, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Revit, Enscape, and a willingness to work with technology
• Strong self-management and independent work habits. 
• People skills. You will meet prospects in their homes and work directly with the homeowners you serve. If you’re the right fit, you will make a lot of friends.
• Professional rigor. You check your work, you find the answers, you do the job right.
• Leadership ability. You will guide clients step-by-step through their projects. 
• An appreciation of modern design and a fluency in residential construction.

• A subscription to Fine Homebuilding AND architectural monographs on Scandinavian Modernism.
