U+B Architecture and Design, Inc.

Design Architect – Primarily Residential Experience Multi-cultural, multi-lingual, collaborative, open, friendly and rigorous attention to detail would be a start to describing our office culture. Located at 26th and Aldrich, our small architecture firm of 9 is seeking to add another.

We work on a variety of projects including residential, educational, hospitality, and corporate. We are looking for an individual with a strong portfolio of residential design experience, with an interest in also doing some small commercial and tenant build-out. Ideally, you have experience in the range of 3-5 years managing projects and with strong communication skills and proven technical competence in construction documentation, detailing and administration.

We would prefer a candidate experienced enough to efficiently work independently with as-needed guidance from more experienced staff on small projects; from code research to finish selections, and with competence to effectively manage document sets on multiple small projects. If your experience lies less on the management side and more on the production side, we are still interested in your capabilities to add to our project team, with opportunity for individual growth. Our office works with AutoCad, SketchUp, Revit and the ubiquitous aspects of Microsoft Office.

How about you? We offer opportunity to engage projects on multiple levels and are very supportive of individual desires to gain more experience in different areas of project delivery. It’s a cool group of people focused on providing superlative service while finding the best designed solutions focused on our clients’ needs. It’s an ambitious goal that we take seriously. We offer a competitive salary, group health plan options, and a 401k program for salaried full-time employees.

Our office is currently working remotely while we await the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please send a compelling letter of interest, coupled with a resume/examples of your work to:
