Structural Designer Plymouth, MN | Direct Hire | $24-$30/hr.

Our client, a leading Consulting Engineering firm in the Twin Cities, has an immediate opening for a Structural Designer to work on Agribusiness and Industrial projects. Responsibilities of the Structural Designer: -Drafting, red-lining, and producing detailed drawings -Will work on a team under the direction of an Engineer or Project Manager -Review shop drawings -Work independently and provide direction and feedback to more junior staff -Projects would include commercial, agriculture, and/ or industrial buildings -Coordination with internal staff, clients, and contractors -May need to do occasional travel to construction job sites. 

Structural Designer Requirements: -Certificate in construction-related design/drafting or higher with at least three years of directly related experience -OR at least four years of directly related experience -AutoCAD and Revit 3D proficiency -MS Word and Excel proficiency -A working knowledge of construction methods, plan reading, and the preparation of construction documents -Good written and verbal communication skills
