Konik PrimeStaff has an immediate opening for a Structural Technician to work in a leading Structural Consulting Engineering firm. Basic responsibilities will be developing, modifying, and reviewing drawings and contract documents of structural systems or components for commercial building projects. This is a contract to hire opportunity and a great way to get your foot in the door with a reputable company in the industry!

Duties and Responsibilities: -Prepare detailed structural drawings for buildings and constructed facilities using Revit -Review and modify drawings for structural components -Will work on a team under the direction of an Engineer or Senior Designer -Projects would include commercial and/ or industrial buildings -Other job duties may be assigned.

Required Skills: -AAS Degree in Architectural or Engineering Drafting and Design -1+ years of similar work experience using Revit -Basic knowledge and understanding of building concepts and design codes -Current knowledge of industry design and drafting standards -Experienced in the use of Revit -MS Word and Excel proficiency -Strong math and geometry skills -Strong organizational and communication skills
