Description
JLG’s Proposal Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the proposal and interview process, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with pursuit strategies. This individual coordinates staffing and schedule for proposals and interviews; outlines proposal and interview content to create compelling and well-organized submissions. This role reviews drafts to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and strategic alignment, refining content for clarity, responsiveness, and effectiveness in securing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production staffing and scheduling for effective, on-time proposals and interview presentations.

Participate in proposal and interview meetings and develop pursuit outlines based on information discussed and received.

Review proposal and interview drafts to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and strategic alignment.

Provide direction to Marketing Coordinators in producing proposal documents and interview presentations.

Personally compile a minimum of one proposal a month.

Maintain marketing materials for continuous improvement of proposals and interviews.

Track performance metrics for new, current, and past efforts.

Continuously evaluate competition’s submittals and interview tactics.

All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-year degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field

A minimum of 3 years’ experience executing proposals and interviews with an A/E/C firm
Preferred:
- Expertise in Adobe InDesign

Demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to follow direction and take feedback from multiple people

Highly organized, detail-oriented, calm and collected under pressure with the ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of proposals and interviews

Positive, flexible, do whatever it takes attitude
