A’21 MN – The Minnesota Conference on Architecture
A Hybrid Conference
Based on the feedback we received from the A’20 MN conference, which was entirely virtual, we have decided to host a hybrid conference in 2021. Two days of the conference will be virtual (Wednesday, October 27, and Wednesday, November 3) and two days will be in person at the Minneapolis Convention Center (Wednesday and Thursday, November 10 and 11).

A’21 MN Call for Program Proposals
The selection committee seeks proposals on a wide variety of topics for all building types including, but not limited to, Practice; Design; Sustainable, Resilient, Regenerative Design; Equity in the Built Environment; Materials & Systems; Technology; Preservation; Rural Design; Urban Design; Equity in the Profession; the Future of the Profession; and Ethics.
Scheduling. Within the program proposal form, you will have the opportunity to indicate your preference for presentation at either a virtual or an in-person day of the conference. If your proposal is selected, the final scheduling decision will be made by the selection committee and AIA Minnesota staff. In an effort to minimize the climate impact of this conference, we will be scheduling programs with out-of-town speakers on virtual days as much as possible.
All proposals must include the following:
