CRAN Behind the Build Tour

Join the Residential Architecture Committee (a chapter of CRAN) on Friday, October 17 at 12:00 pm for a CRAN Build the Build tour of an under-construction Medina home designed by Rehkamp Larson Architects and built by Nor-son Custom Builders, with interior design by O’Hara Interiors.

This project is a new collaboration between Nor-son Custom Builders, O’Hara Interiors, and Rehkamp Larson Architects to create a classic family house in the Deer Hill neighborhood in Medina. The L-shaped footprint is set back on the site with main house wing facing the street with a welcoming front porch and the garage/sport court wing angled to the side reduce the view of the garage doors upon arrival. The main level public spaces (kitchen, dining, living, porch) are open to the long views and patio in the back yard, anchored by a large living room fireplace with pocket office tucked behind it on the front façade.  Four bedrooms on the upper level are accessed by an open staircase on the front elevation screened behind the dining room buffet.  In the lower level there are spaces for fitness, entertainment, guest bedroom and household storage with additional future bonus space above the garage. The project is currently under construction in the framing stage with completion anticipated spring/summer 2026.
